Chronic Pain Syndrome

Chronic pain syndrome is a condition that develops when the cause of the pain is gone but the pain persists. This condition usually coexists with other disorders such as depression or anxiety, complicating the quality of life even more. Although difficult to treat, chronic pain syndrome can be managed with the combination of therapeutic interventions such as physiotherapy and counseling.
