Gastroparesis

Gastroparesis slows down the motility of the stomach. Slowed gastric emptying due to gastroparesis may be accompanied by certain symptoms such as nausea and vomiting. Impaired blood glucose metabolism can also manifest because of abnormal digestion procedure. Diet modifications along with certain drugs can offer some relief.

How much hair is “normal” to loose? Though my body was doing better as I am tolerating more foods the past week or so but my hair is falling out a lot! Not so much in clumps, but as I run my fingers through it it wash my hair in the shower.

My son is 15 now, he’s been in remission for probably 6 years now but this past year he has had awful diarrhea and mainly after eating I’ve noticed. He’s not getting sick and I don’t think any pain. Could this be the disease resurfacing?

Anyone from the Cleveland/Akron area? I need a GI doctor. Tried to get in with Dr. Cline at GP clinic at Cleveland Clinic and my emptying study he won’t accept as it was 2 hour oatmeal. Any GI recommendations would be appreciated. Need to get a 4 hour eggs and toast done before Cline will see me.
