Psychosis Disorder

Psychotic disorder is a term to describe a spectrum of disorders that share a common feature which is losing contact with reality. It is a serious group of disorders. Two of the defining symptoms are hallucinations and delusions. Schizophrenia is a very common type of psychotic disorder. Treatment usually requires medication and psychotherapy.
