Spinal Cord Injury

Spinal cord injury is often a condition that leads to permanent impairment. The severity of impairment depends on the level of the injury and its severity. Severity is classified as complete or incomplete and when paralysis is involved, tetraplegia or paraplegia can occur. Sensory or motor functions are most commonly affected and treatment aims to improve the functions affected and reserve the rest.
