Raynaud’s disease affects the blood vessels, usually the ones of the digits and toes. The trigger for Raynaud’s disease to manifest is stress and cold, in the presence of which blood vessels tend to narrow. The phenotype of this phenomenon is white and blue fingers and toes. When the temperature gets back to normal or stress is relieved, blood vessels function gets back to normal.
